Hi,

I want to use a PIC18F6720, but I notice that they come in 64 TQFP packages. What kind of programmer do i need to program this PIC ?

You will have to use In Circuit Programming I would imagine.

You could use the ICD-40 from CCS or I think the one from Microchip. ICD-2. I'm sure there are others and you can probably make a home brew one.
