hi,
I can't get my PIC detected by the ICD software, I've followed the connection diagram of CCS FAQ, is there any specific advance I need to take care of? Do the PIC need a clock while programming (I suppose not)?
Thx |

Download the ICD trouble-shooting guide:
http://www.ccsinfo.com/ccs_icd_trblsht.zip
Check the connections shown on page 3, including the 47K pullup resistor.
Then look at the flow-charts to see if you can find your problem. |

hi, I've got my ICD working, while I tried to compile the example code (w/ change of directive # to PIC16F877A), no error, but tried to download the code to ICD, got message "bad file or checksum". It seems my .hex is corrupt.
I think may be I've wrong setting for my project, anyone got a project template w/ PIC16F877A + 4Mhz crystal?
Thx, |
