Promate II
PostPosted: Wed Oct 19, 2005 12:06 pm     Reply with quote

Area: Development Tools
Product Group: Programmer
Product: PROMATE II

Problem Description:
I have problem to set the promate II to work with both of the PIC16LC74A and PIC16LF77. Here is the problem:

"If I download the Promate II firmware CPIC64000.hex, it only support the C and LC devices. If I download the Promate II firmwire FPIC70028.hex, it only support the F and LF devices, not the LC."

I want to have the firmware that will work with both the C and F devices without re-download firmware everytime that I change the device.

This Promate II is use in a production line, our product line use both the C and F (PIC16LC74A & PIC16LC77 & PIC16LF77).

What version of the firmware that will work with both devices?

I am looking forward to hear from you.

Thanks..

This is the CCS forum. Promate is made by Microchip, so you
should ask your question in the Microchip programmer forum.
