Listen mode in CAN, not working! HELP
PostPosted: Thu Oct 20, 2005 8:51 am     Reply with quote

Hi

Does somebody else have problem with the listen mode in CAN??

I can't get it to recieve any messages, it works fine in normal mode.

I need to find the bus speed and don't want to make error message on the bus if I have selected wrong baudrate.

I am going nuts on this problem!!

regards

I haven't used Listen Mode, but if you go to http://www.google.com
and type in this search string (with the quotes) then you find some
forum discussions on how to fix the problems:
"can bus" "listen mode"

Thanks!

I have now looked at other forum, and I may have found the problem I only use 2 nodes, the sending one and the listening one.

If I understod it right there is no ACK on the bus after I have sent my message and thats why my listening node isn't recieving any data...

I will try with 3 nodes and see what happens.
