access violations

Many thanks for all your replies on the above topic.
I am running windows 98.
When I load a file it sometimes happens,when it does happen when first opening a file I cannot use the scroll bar to move through the file. If I close the file down and reopen it, It usually works fine!

Aha,
so it's an IDE problem. I would describe it the same way, plus "Compile" button is gray and becomes an inactive. Even somethimes you can't close the application in the normal way, but should do it via "End Task". Don't worry, buy newer version of PSW, more RAM and change OS ;-)
Seriously, even one of those things will improve the situation.
Best of all is to change PSW.
