:=I am using the latest 14 bit compiler with a 16f876. Is there an easy way to see ram & rom requirements by function?

:=All I can find is the assembly listing.

The answer depends (a little), on whether you are using the windowed verson, or the command line version. In the former case, select 'view', then 'call tree'. The result, is a file, showing the functions, and how 'deep' they go in terms of stack space. Alongside each function, there is then the other detail that you want. It is in the form of ROM useage, as two numbers (the bank, followed by the number of bytes), then the RAM useage.
The command line version, requires that you use the setting, to have the .tre file generated (+T). This is the file giving this detail, and will display correctly if loaded with some editors and some fonts. So if you open it with the normal 'notepad' editor, it will look odd, but if you then change the font to '8514oem', it will look correct.
Best Wishes
