I am using PIC C in SPI Mode,
When ever i am communicating on SPI bus, the Variables are getting set to 85 .(like Sequence = 85);
This is very strange problem, i have come across.

Post a very small, but complete, program that shows the problem.
Also give the version of your compiler.

Hi.
Do you have a short on your board? 85 = 01010101 which looks very much like the SPI clock sigal.
Pete.

The problem is,
i am not receiving any bad input from SPI Bus,
if i start the SPI communcation, The variable in the PIC is loaded with 85.
I am not even sending the variable over SPI bus, I tested it on different boards, problem remains same.

Well, if you posted a small program that demonstrates your
problem, then we could see what you are doing, and maybe
offer some help.
