Ciphering with ccs compiler??
PostPosted: Wed Jan 08, 2003 8:00 am     Reply with quote

Hi there,
I'm working on a communication project and i want my comm. secure. So i decided to cipher my messages so no eavesdropping can be possible.I searched on blowfish,twofish,rc4-5-6 and many other ciphering methods. But i cant adapt codes to ccs compiler. Can somebody help me about this topic? Instants codes will be perfect for me thank you.
p.s. I only want to cipher a message than convert it to normal.

I have not had any need for encryption code on the PIC yet, but I did come across a site with some good links:
<a href="http://www.brouhaha.com/~eric/crypto/" TARGET="_blank"> <a href="http://www.brouhaha.com/~eric/crypto/" TARGET="_blank"> <a href="http://www.brouhaha.com/~eric/crypto/" TARGET="_blank"> <a href="http://www.brouhaha.com/~eric/crypto/" TARGET="_blank"> <a href="http://www.brouhaha.com/~eric/crypto/" TARGET="_blank">http://www.brouhaha.com/~eric/crypto/</a></a></a></a></a>

Have a look at the TEA algorithm. (for a PIC) The code was originally written in C, but it has been converted to PIC assembly language. It should be relatively easy to use it with the CCS compiler.
