PIC18F65K90 with Integrated LCD Controller
PostPosted: Tue Jun 02, 2020 9:29 pm     Reply with quote

Dear friends, I will develop a project using the GYTN-2490 display (LCD 7 Segments), reflective type. To handle it, I want to use PIC18F65K90 which already has an integrated LCD controller. However, I never realized this. The most common use of this type of application is CI4543B + LCD display because it is a display that operates with AC.

Can I find a development problem?

Does the CCS compiler have any drivers for controlling the displays?

It sounds as if the LCD you are using is a 'direct drive' type (though
a data sheet would be nice...). If so it'd need a total of 33 I/O pins. Rather
a lot. You'd really need to use an external multiplexer for this or you'd
run out of PIC pins...
(32 segments+common).
Post a data sheet for the LCD (or a link to one).
