kbhit

Dear experts,
I am using MPLAB6.10 and CCS-PCH 3.125. Processor is 18F6720.
Emulator is ICE2k with PCM18XE1 POD.
I will use "kbhit" to receive a character from RS232(Pins C6, C7) and i know that there has to be a change on PIR1 bit 5,
but there is no reaction on that bit.
Does anyone has the same problem and know maybe a solution?

best regards
l. preisigke

I don't know if if you have this problem, but in case of overrun, RCIF don't change...
kb_hit() reset interface in case of overrun...

Best regards

#BYTE RCSTA = 0xFAB // 18F (change adress for 16F/C)

#BIT OERR = RCSTA.1
#BIT CREN = RCSTA.4

BIT kb_hit( void )
{
if( OERR ){
CREN = 0;
CREN = 1;
}
return RCIF;
}
