CCP2 problem when moving from PIC16 to PIC18
PostPosted: Thu Jun 12, 2003 4:35 am     Reply with quote

Hello all,

I've tried to move a project I was running from my old base platform, the PIC16F877, to my new base, the PIC18F452. Are there any problems known with this? I use CCS PCH now, coming from PCM, so in terms of code there is no problem.

However, my code uses CCP2. This used to generate an interrupt. Now, on the 452, this doesn't seem to happen anymore. Might there be something I'm overlooking? What's that 'CCP2 Mux' setting doing in MPLab's Configuration bit window?

Thanks!

Do you have any direct access to registers? Remember the 18F registers are in different addresses.

The CCP2 Mux bit selects the CCP2 input/output:
bit 0 CCP2MX: CCP2 Mux bit
1 = CCP2 input/output is multiplexed with RC1
0 = CCP2 input/output is multiplexed with RB3
