hi guys
I would like to interface pic with plc using modbus communication.
I don't know how to start with.

First I'd get the examples that CCS supplies 'up and running'.

After that, well, it all depends on what your project is required to do.

ModBUS is just another protocol/system/format for allowing device to 'talk' to each other.

And of course there is the question of 'modbus over what'.

Modbus can use a wide variety of different 'carriers'. Ethernet, RS485, etc., and then the data can use ASCII or the RTU formats.
There is not a single 'modbus'.....
