dsPIC33FJ16GS502 cycle by cycle current limit
PostPosted: Fri May 01, 2015 9:39 am     Reply with quote

I am trying to implement cycle by cycle current limiting on an interleaved boost circuit. This makes use of PWM channel 1 and channel 2.
I am using the internal comparators #2 and #3 to measure the inductor current and when it exceeds the limit the comparator is mapped to the PWM fault pin and turns off the PWM output (cycle by cycle). I can get this to work on one or the other channel at a time but not both channels simultaneously.
Does anyone have any experience in this?
Maybe the part can not do this?

Thanks,
Dave

Help if you gave us the right part number....

Also compiler version number.

Show some example setup code. You definitely can set separate fault limiting on most DsPIC PWM's.
