ccs_bootloader.exe
PostPosted: Fri Nov 14, 2014 10:30 am     Reply with quote

Hello,

Compiled and programmed ccs ex_bootloader (serial) in my 45K50.

Using a terminal program, it signs on.

Question: the ccs_bootloader.exe comes up with a window for a file name, and no opportunity to select a comm port or use a different directory, etc. The SIOW.exe will not run on the computer where the board is, only
on the computer where the compiler is installed...

Is there another compatible loader program around that would work with the ccs bootloader (it kinda looks like the Microchip format, but not sure)?

TIA

H,

Seriously?

CCS_Bootloader.exe accepts command line parameters to change the baud and file locations, etc. it's been a while, and I'm traveling now so I can't check, but that info was readily available when I worked on a Bootloader project a while ago. BTW, I wrote a Windows GUI that shells to the CCS code to provide a more user-friendly experience for customers!
