Using the latest compiler version 5.012 this linker error appears at the end of compile.
Executing: "C:\Program Files (x86)\PICC\Ccsc.exe" +FD LINK="GPS_DISC.hex=2401.o,AD5680.o,correction.o,Cpld.o,Disc_Manager.o,fpcomm.o,GPS_Utility.o,Holdover.o,main.o,memory.o,PCComm.o,pps.o,randomlib.o,serial.o,startup.o,timers.o,TSIP_Parser.o,TSIP_Query.o" +DF +LN +T +A +M +Z +Y=9 +EA #__PIC24FJ256GA106__=TRUE

Using version 5.010 all works fine.
Anyone know any solution or the cause of the error. My OS is Win7 x64 |

Realistically, you need to contact CCS.
However, look again at what it is saying. It is _skipping_ the link, because of an error on the first line of the source file. So it is not a linker error, but a problem here.
I have seen a similar thing some years ago, where one compiler version 'complained' and wouldn't compile a file. It turned out the first bracket had been typed using an editor supporting unicode, and was actually the wrong character. Re-editing the file, and just deleting and retyping the first line solved the problem.
