LCD 2x16 using PIC16F688 (LCD.C modification)
PostPosted: Thu Sep 05, 2013 9:25 am     Reply with quote

Hello experts,

I have a big problem and I hope you can help me... I bought a PIC16F688, this PIC does not have a port D or B like the LCD.C library contains.
I need to connect a LCD parallel to the port A.

Des anyone know if it is possible to change the port into the library to this works with port A?

I hope someone can respond to this question...

thank you.

Hi,

Search the code forum and use the 'Flex_LCD' driver instead of LCD.c. The Flex_LCD driver allows you the flexibility to define whatever pins you desire to connect to your LCD.

This has been discussed thousands of times on the forum....
