PIC24FJGAxxx PWM module
PostPosted: Wed Apr 10, 2013 8:54 am     Reply with quote

Are there a way to do a type of MC PWM with this chip. I just need to output a compliment of the PWM signal on another pin to drive a low power full bridge SMPS.

Application are battery driven and this PIC are the only one that I could find with a low Idd at 16MIPS and 16bit wide.

Compiler 4.140

Thanks
Alan

Only way I can think of without just using an external inverter, would be to use the comparator as an inverter. Obviously costs one pin to feed the PWM into the comparator input.

Best Wishes

Thanks Ttelmah, I was hoping to use another way as my comparators were already used, but I just moved the one to use as PWM inverter.

Regards.
