USB HIDDemo in Delphi5
PostPosted: Tue Oct 30, 2012 1:37 pm     Reply with quote

I bought the board and software and the demo works. BUT, when I try to compile the source (even without any modifications) I get an error that it can't find the TJvHidDeviceController component which is of course critical.

So I found http://www.delphi-jedi.org/ which has it but the current release does not support Delphi5. Does anyone have a release that does? All the archive links I can find point to blank pages or 404 errors.

Changing Delphi5 is not a practical choice at this time.

I *think* that previous version of the JVCL are available at SourceForge. Also, the source for all of the JCL and JVCL are available so you may be able to compile what you need for Delphi 5 for the latest source. I am not at my home office to check this out but may be able to help if you can't resolve this. Post back or PM me if you can't make it work.
