Hi guys,
Anybody have experience of BT modules with CCS, especially the new RN4020? |

I do now [16 months later].
I can't recommend RN4020, folks... At least not with its current 1.23 firmware (released in early 2015). The UART protocol for communication between the module and the PIC (host controller) leaves a lot to be desired. Documentation is poor too (case in point). Microchip is not particularly responsive neither with firmware updates nor with support.
Once I'm done with the current project, I'm going to switch to some other BLE module. I'm in the process of selecting a replacement. _________________ Read the label, before opening a can of worms. |

Our project was shelved, but we did get to the point where we thought that the blueGiga module was the one we would use. |
