PC<->USB

Hello!
I'm a beginner with CCS programming, and I want to manage peripheral device via USB communication trough PIC18F4550. I'm wondering if there is some program that can transmit data toward MCU and backward(just like Hyperterminal for RS232). In other words I want to test the communication and then use it for more applications.
I hope someone understood my poor English.
Thanks in advance!
I use Realterm for my PC <-> PIC USB communications. Simple and easy to use.

You can use Hyperterminal as well. The only issue is to find out the port numbers of virtual COM ports, which can be e.g. done in Windows Device Manager.
