Is anyone who can explain how to use an lcd screen in conjunction with pic.

I try to check the ex_92lcd.c (example) but i confused.

Post the manufacturer and part number of the LCD. Also post a link to
the website for your LCD.

I don't have any lcd now. I try to learn how to use an lcd and then i buy one.

I need a basic describe how to use an lcd.

You will learn most by USING an LCD.

Manufacuturers data sheets and CCS examples show HOW to use LCD.

I'd pay a little more for an LCD and get one which does NOT need negative voltage for contrast control.

There are several types of LCDs, and each type has several variations.
That's why I asked what type you want to use. This page shows them:

The most common type for PIC experiments is the Character LCD.
That's the middle one in the link above. It shows 4 rows of 16 characters.
The most common type is 2 rows of 16 characters.

So again, what type of LCD do you want to use ?
