PCD #pin_select for SPI1 problems - OOPS: user error

PCD: 4.130
IDE: PCW

I'm trying to set the pin selection for SPI1 and it does not seem to take hold - it works fine for the UART.

In researching this on the forum I saw a suggestion to set the registers manually. Does anyone have a short example of how to do this?

I tried generating a registers header file and including it but it generates lots of errors.
