I want to know how to start this example step by step.

Yesterday i implement the circuit of usb to serial and RUNburn this example.

I don't see any thing on my computer.
I don't use any capacitor on vbus pin to GND.

I search it on web i need to install some thing on my computer.

I don't know about bootloader, tell me about this. I got complete tutorial to make usb to serial connection but is on MikroC compiler and it is also on Microchip website.

But I want to implement on ccs c compiler, guide me how to start.

Tutorial is Tutorial 1 - Implementation of a USB based PIC-to-PC communication.pdf

1) read the example file ! You MUST have a cap on the Vbus pin!!!

2) read the PIC datasheet !! You should carefully read the USB section as well as the Clock section to be sure you've got the right FUSES selections.

3)you should tell us which PIC and compiler you're using.

4) I know for a fact the CCS software runs on an 18F4550.I use a 4MHz xtal and it communicates to PC at about 1megabaud fine for the past 1 1/2 years.
