Emulate PS/2 Wheel Mouse
PostPosted: Wed Feb 15, 2012 8:21 pm     Reply with quote

Does anyone know of some sample code for using a PIC to act as a wheel mouse when connected to a PS/2 connector on a PC?

I have found countless articles on the PS/2 interface and several assembler code examples for using a PIC to act as 2 button PS/2 mouse but I cannot find an example in CCS C (or any C code that matter).

The application I have is to sense 3 switches and the wheel with a PIC and emulate the PS/2 interface to send the data to a PC. I don't need to sense and send the X or Y mouse data but will send all zero's in those bytes.

Thanks

Al

You could check the code library here........
also there's USB examples that might be helpful in the examples folder...
