I am trying to make a key code device. I want to be able to store a PIN in eeprom and read a PIN from the keypad to compare against. Does anyone have a sample piece of code for writing a string to eeprom?

Check out th CCS F.A.Q. on their page. They have an example for floating pt numbers which seems to me would be "easy" to covert to your purposes.
Good luck!
