USB driver for PIC18F13K50
PostPosted: Wed Sep 28, 2011 1:25 am     Reply with quote

Hello,

I am trying to make an USB HID mouse with 18F13K50. In my current version of PCH (4.088), the 18F13xxx-family is not listed as a supported family in pic18_usb.h file. What should I do that get the support for that PIC? Should I update the compiler or is there a newer driver available for download somewhere?

Thanks in advance!

Easiest probably, to update the compiler.

However remember that the supplied 'drivers', are really only examples, and you certainly could just produce your own entry to handle the 13K50. It doesn't differ much from the other 18F USB chips.
But there were significant updates to the USB code around V4.100, which it is probably worth having.
