using the 'code' button when posting code

Hi all,

A simple question but very annoying because I can't do it.
How do you use the code button to format and highlight the posted code correctly?

I just can't seem to get it to work by pressing the 'code' button.

Key is that code must both start _and end_.
So you type something, then hit the 'code' button

I've tried everything, and pressed that code button is so many ways - but it only ever appears at the bottom of the code.

sorted it - thanks!!

You cannot have any spaces after the text.
I have changed my previous post about the ADC into the correct format.
