Routine for the AD5932!
PostPosted: Mon Aug 01, 2011 11:54 am     Reply with quote

Good afternoon for everyone.

I need a routine that runs in PIC24HJ128GP204 for AD5932.
I have to generate a square wave with a fixed duty cycle with frequency ranging from 1KHz to 400KHz.
The hardware is done.
I need something to start operating the equipment.
If anyone can help, I'll be very grateful.
The PIC24 and the AD5932 are new to me. I am familiar with programming in the CCS PICs of family 16F and 18F.

I appreciate everyone's attention and I apologize for my English!

Thanks, Hugo

I don't have a PIC24 series uC but did download the datasheet for the AD5932. Only 28 pages...easy reading. It should take maybe 3-4 hours of work to get a 'driver' up and running. All information needed is in the datasheet, commands, timing, SPI info.
Seriously writing the driver is easy, just read the datasheet, cut code, observe the results and finetune until you have what you need.
The hard part, if there is any, is to cut 'generic menu code' for the PIC NOT the actual driver to the AD5932.
Then YOU can upload your driver into the library here for others to use !
