Project Wizard: where did analog pins options go?
PostPosted: Tue Dec 14, 2010 10:17 am     Reply with quote

Compiler 4.114, tried the PIC wizard with the 18F4685, 12F683 and 16F690 all have no options under analog pins configuration, someone knows why?

Tnx.

Also, the general setup phase (lines appearing right after void main()) declaration are much way reduced from what I remember, many peripherals are now not configured (many declaration where about disable this, disable that).

Losing the peripheral setups, is a good thing!.....
The old wizard, used to waste an enormous number of lines, and significant code, setting things to the values they wake up with. If they only appear when you change things, it'd be a big move forwards.

Well, ok, sort of ;)

Good for useless definitions, less for a quick inspection/setup of a simple peripheral; it's a wizard though, I it usefull to fill the blank sheet with some code example ready to copy/modify/paste.

Maybe it's a bug or misconfiguration or else!?
