Adding and deleting files in a project
PostPosted: Thu Nov 11, 2010 12:49 am     Reply with quote

I'm missing something basic in the CCS IDE:

How to add/delete files to a project?

With MPLAB, one just adds or deletes using:
1. The item in the 'Project" drop down list.
2. Or, right-click on the file in the 'project files' window.

How do you do this in the CCS IDE?

Regards Bill Legge

IDE's are very maternal they are often designed to stop the user from accidentally messing up. Some like to have Mom around some don't.
For CCS IDE
You can remove files from a project by getting rid of the #includes you can close views of included files by closing them using their file tabs but to delete them you need to go outside the IDE and zap them rename them etc. using your PC OS file commands.
