Bootloader and UART
PostPosted: Wed Nov 10, 2010 1:25 pm     Reply with quote

Dear All,
I'm using CCS Bootloader (including in my application firmware the "Bootloader.h" file) to upgrade PIC16F877 by serial interface (PIN C6 and C7).
All it works fine, except one thing:
I can't use RS232 function (like printf and putc) in application firmware.
Maybe, I'm wronging some thing, please can you help me?

Thanks

Bye bye

Post a small program that shows the problem. I mean, really small, such
as only 10 lines of code in the application program. That's all it should
take to show the problem.

The program that you post should compile with no errors, if it's copied
and pasted into a project in MPLAB.

Also post your compiler version.
