Reading More than 1 RFID tag at a time

Hi Guys
This is more like a design help that I require.
I am planning to design an RFID tracking system using Active tag (waist bands) to be worn by kids going on day trips.
The problem I have just discovered is How can I read more than one tag say 10 at once, to determine if any of them go more than the preset distance?

This is a question to ask the manufacturer of the RFID hardware, not a bunch of programmers.
