Capacitive touchpad
PostPosted: Tue Aug 31, 2010 9:18 am     Reply with quote

Hi all,
Has anyone used one. Just got the CCS demo board to get some quick hardware to play with.
The CCS compiler seems to have a variable called TOUCHPADSTATUS this is no where to be seen in the documentation!
My problem seems to be speed of "button press" it takes about 1/2 a second to realise your finger is there! Any ideas?

You need to tell us what program you're compiling. I'll bet that 99% of
possible responders don't have the CCS touchpad board. Is this
program available in the CCS Examples or Drivers directories ?

Tell us your PIC and the oscillator frequency.

Also post your compiler version.
