How to locate CCS build-in functions
PostPosted: Tue Jun 15, 2010 10:49 am     Reply with quote

Hi all,

I am working on a bootloader with Pic18f65j10.

Code:

#build(reset = 0x400)                   //re-map vector - reset.
#build(interrupt = 0x408)   //re-map vector - interrupt.

#org 0x0000,0x03ff   //Bootloader area

void   _fn_Bootloader()
{
....
[color=red]i2c_write(0xA3); [/color]//
....
[color=red]write_program_memory(0x1000, ptr_array, 64);[/color]
.....
}

void main()
{
 //user code.
}

CCS build-in functions are invoked by the bootloader.
I would like to locate these build-in functions within the bootloader area i.e. 0x0000~0x03FF.

How could i do that? Thanks.

For questions on code location in a bootloader, look in the CCS manual
in the sections on #build, #reset, and #org.
http://www.ccsinfo.com/downloads/ccs_c_manual.pdf

See this post on #org default:
http://www.ccsinfo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19087

See these CCS example programs for more on #org default:
