Pic 32bits compiler

Hello all,

I am about to switch from PIC18 to PIC32 family;

I need to choose a compiler and need some advice.
Which, in your opinion, is the best :
CCS PCD
or
Microchip C30 ?

Not that I am reluctant to paying for a new compiler but rather, I want to be sure that I am not going to use a buggy compiler.

The choice is made for you.

CCS don't have a PIC32 compiler. PCD is for the 24bit family not PIC32.

Yup. You have to get C32, not C30.

I'm doing a project right now in C32...

It's different - that's for sure.

I feel like I'm compiling with gcc....

I am working on this, its a header file with defines to make things similar to the way ccs uses them.

example, turn on an led:

#define PWR_LED PIN_C3
mOutput_high(PWR_LED);

in C32 there is no PIN_C3, so I defined it.
