how to trigger an input
PostPosted: Sun Mar 07, 2010 9:04 pm     Reply with quote

Hello,
I want to write a program where one input pin is connected to a trigger or ir door system.
As soon as the door is opened the or breaks which give a pulse to the input pin.
On detecting that it should send an output to another pin and again even if the door closes there should be no effect on the input pin.
So only one pulse should trigger this .
Pls help me how to write a program for this.

Thanks
SherpaDoug

It sounds like you need a beginners book on programming microcontrollers in C. I don't have any suggestions, but a decent bookstore should have something.
