Debugger Issue
PostPosted: Mon Jan 11, 2010 4:55 pm     Reply with quote

Hi,

I have just come back to PICs after a long absence. My envirnonment is:

24F Demo board
ICD-U64
IDE 4.104
CCS Programmer Control SFw 4.022

I have worked through the 24F exercises but cannot get the Monitor to work in the debugger, i.e., rs232 (DEBUGGER). This is in example #11. The code works fine with normal connection to serial port monitor (example #9).

Using the step commands I find the code hangs up at the #use rs232 (DEBUGGER) line in the Utility.c file with the processor running.

Anyone have any thoughts? I'll post the code if someone is willing to look at it.

Thanks for your help.

Dave

Same problem - Debugger Issues
PostPosted: Fri Jan 15, 2010 2:59 pm     Reply with quote

Hi,

I'm having the same issue, but with the PIC18F8722. I haven't been able to get the monitor to work in "Advanced Debugging". I moved onto the next exercise, "Timers", and still can't get it to work.

Were you able to solve your problem?

Thanks,
R
