Hello,
I'm passing some data from external source to my pic24 Terminal.
The external source and Terminal are connected with serial connection.

I can send and receive data but now I have to change the variables according to new incoming data. This part should be used for dynamic LCD representation.

Each time when I "download" some data from external device I want to be able to dynamically change the value in the terminal.

char UserName = new incoming userName value
char Date= new incoming date value.

How to make this ?

Look in this CCS file for serial input routines for text and numbers:
Quote:
c:\program files\picc\drivers\input.c

Then do a search on the CCS example files directory for "input.c"
to see examples of how to use those routines. There are about 25 files
that #include input.c. Example:
