Print SDI data to LCD
PostPosted: Fri Mar 11, 2011 2:23 pm     Reply with quote

Hello-
I want to print some serial data input (16 bit) to a serial LCD.
I was thinking that I could send the pin C4 data to a Port, then print the Port?
So far this hasn't worked out well for me.
How should I approach this?
Thanks!

Do you want to read bytes with spi_read() and then display them ?
See the readMCP3909() routine here for an example:
http://www.ccsinfo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=32893&start=1
If you're using a serial LCD (ie, from http://www.seetron.com )
then you can delete the lcd_putc() parts from the printf statements.
Also delete the lcd_gotoxy() line.

Or instead of displaying individual bytes, combine them with make16()
and use "%lx" or "%lu" to display them as 16-bit values.
