When I write and read to a 24AA65 or 24LC256 does not work

I am using a 16c76 with the corresponding pins for the SDA/SCL, I have a 10k pullup in SDA and my chip address (A0..A2 and WP) all to ground. So, I write to it with the routines of the compiler and when I readback I get 0 and if I put a pull up in SCL which I read that it needs it to O I get 255s.

So, any ideas?

Thanks,
PCM programmer

Post your test program. Don't post the eeprom driver if it's one of the
standard CCS drivers. Just post the #include line for it.

Also post your compiler version.
