Robot mapping
PostPosted: Thu Jul 30, 2009 4:25 am     Reply with quote

Hello,

I'm building a robot and now I'm facing a problem for knowing" always where I am (the robot).

I want to be able to know in X, Y coordinates where I am. I want to use 2 gray code encoder's on the 2 wheels.

I think I can also use an optical mouse...

Does anyone have an example code to make the "mapping" with encoder's like this and/or optical mouse?

My pic is a 18f4550 but if you have examples to other pic's, that's fine for me...

thanks
