Hello,
I use PCWH with MPLAB. When I set port C on PIC 16F886 as outputs and I ask 00, bit 6 is always high and bit 7 high impedance.
Is there something special for this pic ? No problem with 16F876.

Pin 6 and 7 are used for serial async
and that is normal depending on your initialization.
