Configuration PLLEN doesn't appear!
PostPosted: Wed Jul 22, 2009 2:23 am     Reply with quote

Hello,

I'm developing a project with PIC16F727 and I'd like to enable the PLL. In the #fuses of 16f727.h doesn't appear PLLEN option so I can't enable it.

I try to program the config via MPLAB and ICD2 but I can't.

Do you know any way to write config adresses directly with the value?

I see, that PLLEN is present in 16F727 valid fuses.

Why? Manual configuration in MPLAB always works.

By a #rom statement, as frequently explained in the forum. It shouldn't be necessary in this case, however.

Post your compiler version. It's 4-digit a number in this format: x.xxx
You can find it at the top of the .LST file. That file will be in your project
directory after a successful compilation.

I'm looking at PIC16F727.h and see:

Code:

//////// Program memory: 8192x14  Data RAM: 367  Stack: 8
//////// I/O: 36   Analog Pins: 14
//////// C Scratch area: 77   ID Location: 2000
//////// Fuses: LP,XT,HS,EC_IO,INTRC_IO,INTRC,RC_IO,RC,NOWDT,WDT,NOPUT,PUT
//////// Fuses: NOMCLR,MCLR,NOPROTECT,PROTECT,NOBROWNOUT,BROWNOUT_NOSL
//////// Fuses: NOBROWNOUT,BORV25,BORV19,NOPLLEN,PLLEN,DEBUG,NODEBUG,VCAP_A0
//////// Fuses: VCAP_A5,VCAP_A6,NOVCAP

I'm using 4.095 of the compiler.
