question on setup_adc_ports()
PostPosted: Thu Jun 25, 2009 12:46 am     Reply with quote

The combinations offered by the setup_adc_ports() do not attend my requirement.

I need to setup the AN7 on the RE3 port plus the AN0 on the RA0 port of a 16f877a, but the options available on the mentioned instruction do not cover this combination.

Is there another way to setup the ADC ports than the setup_adc_ports() ????

thanks in advance

You can't do it with the 16F877A. Read these threads:

Hi PCM programmer

I did not realize it was a chip design limitation.

As I want to use some 16f877A leftovers, I will swap the connections between RE3 and RA1 or RA2.

Thanks a lot for the fast and objective answer.
