counting files on FAT
PostPosted: Wed Mar 11, 2009 11:12 am     Reply with quote

hey guys,

I am working on my hobby project. It involves implementation
of FAT32 on an SD card. driving the card is ok, but I couldn't
get handy with FAT and associated extensive calculations

All I need is to count the number of files on the root directory
and display them out on the LCD. Driving the LCD is also ok
The display can show 12 files at once and then scroll down.

I just want a sample code to read the file name to a pointer or so.

Please show me some code to do that

btw I use PIC18F458, SD/MMC 128MB- 2GB and PCWHD-4.057 IDE
nice time!
