Multiple Input Sequence

I'm developing a quiz system that will convert an input to text.

Here my sample program:

while(TRUE)
{
int8 value;
value = input_b();
switch(value)
{
case 0b00000001: lcd_putc("Alaska"); break;
case 0b00000011: lcd_putc("Britian"); break;
case 0b00000111: lcd_putc("Canada"); break;

I want to upgrade this system so that it can read multiple input and display a word.

ex: read input (by sequence) 0b00000001 and 0b00000011 and LCD display "Alaska and Britain"

Any idea?
