"Watch out for" on PCWH version 4.086
PostPosted: Thu Feb 26, 2009 3:27 am     Reply with quote

Probably not a problem if you always install in the same directory but if like me you keep each version in a separate directory.

c:\ccs\4.084
c:\ccs\4.086

Etc.

I've just noticed that version 4.086 installed with the paths in
project options>include files incorrectly pointing to the version 4.084 directorys.
E.g

c:\ccs\4.084\devices\ and c:\ccs\4.084\drivers\

I have the same problem.
I am still keeping v3.242, and plenty of project have been written in that version.
Few weeks ago, I obtained v4.085, and here is the thing - all old projects still point to v3.242 /devices and /drivers.
I have to change every project manually to v4 directories
Any solution?
Cheers

Despite changing the paths manually to point at ver 4.086 directories in project options>include files the status line and the statistics file still say it's using those from the 4.084 directory.

I can't find anywhere else to change these so i guess it's in the registry.
