INT_OSC vs EXT_OSC
PostPosted: Wed Feb 11, 2009 7:51 am     Reply with quote

Hi All,
My RF knowledge is nil. I'm looking for any information regarding the differences in noise immunity when using the internal oscillator at 125KHz to 250KHz(PIC16F917) vs. an external crystal ( or other oscillator). Specifically, does using the internal oscillator put my circuit at higher risk of failing the new CE immunity requirement testing? If a circuit needs to pass CE testing, is it advisable to use an external oscillator?
Thank you for any input at all.

Piccolo
