Keypad and DS1302 Question
PostPosted: Wed Feb 11, 2009 8:24 am     Reply with quote

I will be connect my keypad tp PORT D, it is a 4x3 keypad, do I need to put pull-up resistor on my ROWS (A,B,C and D)?

Another question, I am using DS1302.C driver, when I initialized rtc_init(), there is an error on proteus saying there is a logic contention on RTC_IO, is this normal?

The need for pullups is certain, but some PIC parts do have internal pullup resistors on some of the ports that can be used for you keypad. Check your data sheet for your part.
