Can't program pic16 micros!
PostPosted: Wed Jan 28, 2009 4:17 am     Reply with quote

HI,
I have the PCWH compiler (ver 3.249) and can only program pic18's. I thought it can program pic16's and pic12's, as it covers PCB, PCM as well as PCH. If I'm wrong, what compiler would work for 16's and 12's, or is there a setting to set up for them?
Cheers

If you really have PCWH (and just the demo version of it), then you can
write programs for the Pic16 and Pic12 chips (as well as Pic18).

I don't have the IDE, so I can't help you too much, but notice that there
is a drop-down box at the top of the IDE where you select the compiler:
